Exciting Journey Ahead

Hong Kong-based design practice One Bite Design Studio is expanding its presence to Singapore. The new office will be based in the creative co-working space, The Working Capitol, at Robinson Road Singapore. Our new Managing Director, Billy Kwan, will be overseeing its operation and development.

Billy joins One Bite after 10 years of strategic and urban planning, community design and event curation experience. He was a founding member and curator of Very Hong Kong and is recognised for creatively transforming public space. He was awarded the "40 Under 40" Award in the Architecture category by Perspective in 2014, and is an associate member of Urban Land Institute.

“The creative scenes at the ASEAN countries, especially Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, have been flourishing at an unprecedented pace. High quality architectural design with placemaking emphasis and community-curated events have been really taking off. Singapore is at the heart of ASEAN and shares a lot of similarities with Hong Kong as a hub for their respective region. Our new location in Singapore would help fostering our links with these ASEAN countries, and to further explore opportunities for meaningful collaborations that would deliver projects that are aesthetically pleasing, financially sustainable and a design that the community and the society is proud of.” Billy said.
