Cafe330 in Caritas Hospital is the fourth café opened by New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. 330 stands for Body, Mind, Soul. This Cafe330 has been designed to remind the customers the importance of a healthy soul by a mindful-eating experience.

Considering the intense lifestyle in a hospital building, the design provides a calm and comfortable space for the customers by a material combination of light colours and timber. Welcoming customers from the lift lobby, the café logo is a white on white signage on perforated metal backing, creating a subtle yet refreshing café identity.

The key feature in the café is an exaggerated and orange “0” embedded in the entrance to the seating area. The fullness of the “0” can only be viewed at a specific location near the takeaway counter. This “0” is to give all the passing-by and the customers an inspiration of the present moment. When “0” being split in other angles, it interlocks with the different elements in the café space, forming scattered moments of awareness during the journey of coffee.

Cafe330 is one’s daily breakout for a moment of peaceful mind.

Be Mindful, be 330.
Time for the Presence.
